Anderson is no ground ball pitcher. Can't believe they would acquire him and move Davies to AAA. He has been horrible, makes me think Arizona knew something. The amazing thing about the trade is the Brewers actually thought they got a steal of a deal. Bring Wagner back!

 

 

Panic much? Spring training stats are soooooooooooooo meaningless. Spring training stats are not an appropriate way to gauge a player, at all.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

No way he is going to hit .500 for a month during the regular season.

Broxton with 3 more K's in 3 ABs. That's 4 K's in 4 ABs in Houston. He now has 20 in 49 AB's with just 2 extra base hits. He looked good early on but lately seems overmatched. Will be interesting to see if they start him back in AAA.

Garza left the game with shoulder tightness today. Something to keep on eye on. Jungmann also pitched today so he could slide into that spot if need be.
