2016 MLB Draftees

What are the chances of Corey Ray, Lucas Erceg and possibly a college pitcher of two getting fast tracked to the Timber Rattlers to mix in with Trent Clark, Jacob Gatewood and Tucker Nieuhaus (hopefully he returns healthy and has a good 2nd half)? The are the same ages and Erceg and Ray appear to have more advanced bats.

Ray is bypassing Wisconsin and being assigned to Brevard County this weekend.

Erceg could most likely handle to bump to Wisconsin, but that means compromised playing time for Gatewood unless you send him down to Helena. Maybe Erceg skips Wisconsin as well?

Corbin Burnes would seem like a good bet to see Wisconsin this year. Daniel Brown, too, if they keep him in the bullpen. And maybe a guy like Thomas Jankins.

Braden Webb, Zack Brown, and Scott Serigstad all have some control/command issues that the Brewers probably want ironed out before A-ball.

Erceg has had a hot start in Helena, and looking at high-A they could use a 3B, so i'd almost think moving him up there and let Gatewood stay in Wisconsin to continue to develop if he continues to mash in Helena

How fast this draft class can move through the minors could really determine how long this rebuild takes.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Does Erceg really have an advanced bat? He spent last year at lower competition than the typical college player.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Webb threw 90 innings in his 1st season back from Tommy John. Is it likely he pitches much more this summer until fall instructionals?
