Ryan Zimmerman

Peter Gammons says that according to "One GM" Zimmerman will be the Brewers' man on draft day. A solid 3B prospect would make sense for the organization.

 

Any thoughts?

I guess that means we can cross Ryan Zimmerman's name off. I wouldn't put much stock in what Gammons says.

Gammons has to be right sometimes. I mean, he gets all his info from others. Maybe he picks the right source on a occasion. It is not just gammons who thinks the brewers want zimmerman, but some think he will go #4 to washington...

The more I read about Zimmerman the more I think we can't pass on this guy if he is available. Excellent fielder who led Team USA in hitting last summer...and setting a team USA record by hitting .468. What am I missing? We need a corner and this guy could be in AA by season's end..or not.
