Philip Gosselin?

Not a need certainly but that didn't stop the Brewers earlier and Gosselin's one of the better players we've seen DFA'd this winter. Hits for average, good pinch hitter, played 5 positions last year and didn't make a single error. Can't fathom why Arizona wanted Descalso instead, LH bat maybe?

If we could find a taker for Gennett, he does seem like he'd be a nicer option for the bench as a right handed backup for Villar, Shaw and Thames.

You just cherry picked his numbers and, outside the steals, they're still worse than Gosselin's... still they're pretty similar, probably more apt to just call them both Zobrist-lite
