In the NL the Cardinals are the clear favorites. The Nationals will need near-perfection from their starters to have a chance. I think the Nats will take 2 games where the starting pitching wins it for them but that's it.

Yankees-Astros should be more entertaining and could go either way. I see it as a tossup but will go with the Yankees--they are rested while Verlander and Greinke looked vulnerable in Tampa.

Cardinals in 6

Yankees in 7

Or ... counterpoint ... the Cardinals suck.

That post did not age well.

He's not wrong. Cards in six can still happen, and the Nats got near-perfection from their starters. Won't believe the Cardinals are dead until they are in the ground.

Correa with one of the best HR celebrations I've ever seen. Amazing.

Pretty sure the Cardinals would have protested the game and refused to play if Correa did that against them.

I wish TBS would show the batter, the order they're in, and MPH on the pitch. It's nice to flip back the game here and there and know where they're at in the lineup, etc.

TBS seems to have cut their MLB broadcasting budget. Just not a good production.

This has to be the most pathetic the Cards have ever looked in the postseason.

The Cards aren't just losing, they're losing big now. Frankly, they got lucky to escape the Atlanra series and get to the game 5 dud. It's going to take a lot of starter breakdowns for the Nats to lose 4 straight.

I don't know - they got pasted pretty good by the Red Sox in a World Series a few years back, too.

Oh you mean the team that was 10th in runs in the National League and 19th in all of baseball has trouble scoring in the playoffs?

No way...

They have scored 2 runs in their last 33 innings, going back to the 4th inning of game 5 vs Atlanta, and both those runs were on misplays in the outfield!!

Not sure why so many here were so high on the cardinals. Like us, they basically had one month of not being a league average team. They have a lot of holes just like the Brewers/ Cubs did. The Nationals have a great rotation and lineup and can cover a poor bullpen. A Nationals/ Astros WS would make me very happy.

I'm hoping for a Nationals / Yankees series...

Yanks haven't won since 2009, Astros just 2 years ago.

This Yankees team is just fun to watch.

Wow!

After the Braves series I thought the Cardinals were a team of destiny. I've seen bullied nerds on the playground put up better fights than these guys this series.

This is absolutely glorious. This has to be one of the worst LCS performances of all time!

I’m kind of glad the Cards won that game 5 now, this is the most enjoyable way they could have exited.

I love everything about this.
