2020-09-30 (NL Wild Card Series): Brewers (Suter) at Dodgers (Buehler) [Brewers lose, 4-2 -- Suter’s early struggles prove too much for offense to overcome; Yardley and Topa combine on solid effort out of bullpen]

Not bringing Yelich in feels like missing the fleeting window. The subsequent arrival of Freddy only adds to the ominousness of the moment.

I don’t feel good about Freddy, hope I’m wrong, but he hasn’t been good lately.

I think he’ll be okay this time around, he got thrown into the game Sunday very abruptly. Of course I could be wrong.

Edit: I was wrong.

I was hoping you would be right.

It’s also just not a part of the game he’s typically pitched in. This late, I thought even Knebel or Claudio would’ve been better. This late more of a typical relief role instead of Freddy typical piggy back.

That is not where that pitch should be.

Bad Freddy is so bad. If he doesn't have it, it can get ugly in a hurry.

Good Freddy is why he's gonna be around for awhile, though. He need Good Freddy to show up on a much more regular basis (obviously)

I’ve wanted Seager to be a Brewer for years. He’ll be a free agent in another year, and if they were ever going to save up for a giant free agent splash I really hope it’s Corey Seager.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I really dont see Peralta as a long term asset.

Just not enough arm talent.

It's strange. He has a ton of arm talent but the lack of development is alarming. Call him the pitching Arcia.

The Brewers have missed some fat pitches tonight, and Seager didn't miss that one. Simple as that.

Some of that is really awful mechanics.

We need Vogey to get us that run back.

Yes, the NYY-CLE game is nuts. One of the more wild postseason games in a while. I fully expect the Indians to force extras.

The Yankees lineup reminds me of the Alabama football team

I don't know if arm talent is the issue. He's got really good stuff. He just really struggles at times with his command and, seemingly, his concentration. Hopefully those are things that he can get under control as he gets older and gets more experience.

Fastball is straight and velocity is pretty average by todays bullpen arms.

Yelich is the one big contract that we will have for awhile unless we finally get a salary cap in the next collective bargaining agreement.
