2020-09-30 (NL Wild Card Series): Brewers (Suter) at Dodgers (Buehler) [Brewers lose, 4-2 -- Suter’s early struggles prove too much for offense to overcome; Yardley and Topa combine on solid effort out of bullpen]

Gyorko not getting anything to fall has been a mild disappointment. I kind of expected him to have a hit or two tonight, but that is probably just my prior association of him with some residual Cardinals voodoo.

Ha. Very true.

Garcia with a great night.

At least the Garcia hit means if someone gets on in the 9th then Yelich may have a chance to make a great Postseason memory.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

The Orlando Arcia experience is just not fun. Sorry.

If you intend to live by Orlando Arcia, then you will die by him, too. I hoped we would be living and dying by Yelich, Hiura, and Braun in a game like this, but here we are.

I really dont see Peralta as a long term asset.

Just not enough arm talent.

It's strange. He has a ton of arm talent but the lack of development is alarming. Call him the pitching Arcia.

Fastball is straight and velocity is pretty average by todays bullpen arms.

Says you....and nobody else

It was a good time. It's too bad they fell behind early, this was a winnable game. Lots of opportunities to push more runs across too.

Well it’s not over yet. They came back from a 4-run 9th inning deficit on Pittsburgh this year, and if you can beat the Pirates late what’s to say you can’t do the same to the Dodgers?

Don't count them out yet. If Kenley Jansen was infallible, we wouldn't be trying to fan-trade Josh Hader to the Dodgers every year.

Well hopefully Woody brings his stuff tomorrow and somehow we can tie it up. One game for it all would be awesome.

Yup. October baseball. Third year in a row. I thought today how weird it is, as a Brewer fan, to feel like a veteran of postseason dread.
