If this is the cost for high end rental position players, I suspect we won't be involved in that market. Probably just find a couple relievers and see what happens.

Jesus hasn't been anything special in the majors and is getting rocked in the minors right now. Not saying he is insignificant but I think a lot of his value has plummeted this season.

Luzardo 2021 seems awfully similar to Corbin 2019.

What's mostly killed Luzardo has been the homers he's allowed. At least at the major league level thus far. Admittedly, he's been terrible across the board this year, majors and minors. Perhaps the move to Miami will help him flourish. Still seems like a gamble worth taking for Miami.
