  1. With one career homer versus a lefty, that was probably a little too big of an ask.
  2. Coming into today, Yelich was .628 over the last four weeks while Joey was at .886. The gap has only grown wider today.
  3. I would love to know how many homers have been hit over that shortened wall in right between the Brewers and opponents. I would swear we are deep in the hole in that regards.
  4. Really going to stick to that story that Turang can hit lefties?
  5. Sproat reminds me too much of Freddy. Get ahead and then throw non-competitive pitches or work too hard for Ks. It's why I don't miss Freddy AT ALL Could be wrong, Sproat just might have lousy control.
  6. I have never liked Sanchez. The ABS challenge system has tripled or quadrupled that dislike.
  7. I much prefer fangraphs WAR personally and they had him well under one in two of his last three years. He could cover ground ok but had a noodle of an arm so he wasn't very good defensively either. I know it's an argument I couldn't possibly win regardless because Robin is a chosen one so I'm out.
  8. A guy with a .712 OPS and 98 OPS+ over four years is basically washed to me. If you choose to think otherwise, that's fine with me.
  9. Yount was basically washed for the last four years of his career too. It would be easy for me as I'm loyal to the team never to a player but that's me.
  10. Sal's throws this year make it look like he has a torn labrum and a torn ucl.
  11. Goes for Mitchell too. His average and OBP are basically identical in his career lefty/righty. No power but no need to pinch hit for him consistently. Turang really should be platooned if offense is the only thing to consider.
  12. The way he looked at 2B the other day and offensively all year, it's hard to believe he was a top 100 ranked prospect as a shortstop not that long ago.
  13. From the radar, doesn't look like it's rained in over an hour and nothing nearby. Curious decision from 500 miles away.
  14. I was going to make the same comment. If I was a blind person listening to the game my impression of that play would have been oh so different from reality.
  15. I seriously made my recent comment about our DH because I've seen him immediately respond to my missives with a missile before.
  16. Can you use a designated hitter for the designated hitter?
  17. Can't believe they didn't turn to Perkins to PH for Mitchell there.
  18. While I've wanted the robo ump since the box was first introduced years ago, the challenge system has softened my view of the umps. Hard to be so hard on them being bad at calling balls and strikes when the players have no clue when or not to challenge themselves.
  19. Turang needs to steal 2nd, 3rd and home. Only hope we got.
  20. How many blasted called third strike ab's tonight?
  21. Sanchez is ok challenging as a catcher, over 60% and better than Contreras. But as a hitter only 40%.
  22. Neither of our announcers remember U.L. Washington?
