One of the other by products of Yelich being bad is the leader of the team seems to be a guy who has been here for what 100 games?? It would be nice if the face of the franchise could rally the boys and get some fire going but he seems to be mired in his own muck so tough for him to be the man. A bunt wouldn’t have been the worst idea in that situation. His odds of getting a hit off the LHP in that situation were so low it would’ve been worth a shot.

The mystery of this signing is he's never been that good on offense. He's had 2 years above average. In paying him 12 million dollars when he had no other serious offers it never in any way made sense.

I don't feel bad for him. If this was back in June I would feel bad for him, but the season's two weeks away from ending. He's had much more than enough time to figure it out. Good riddance to him.

I've been fighting the urge to say this but I'm going to say it now. If the Cardinals win the wild card game, they're going to the World Series and probably win it. And I will stand by that statement until proven wrong.

Tonight sucked, but the Brewers will be just fine. They’ll clinch the division by no later than this weekend and be able to focus on getting ready for the playoffs.
