I’m not sure where the spot to talk about this is, but what an unbelievably selfish, immature and quite frankly idiotic thing Devin Williams did. Last year he was unavailable for the playoffs and it appears that will be the case this year as well. Thankfully our starting pitching depth will help the pen but the pressure on Hader is now even greater.

If the Brewers will ever use Hader more than 1 inning again feel like this is the time given the Williams news. Interested to see if we see Josh come in for an out in the 8th then go back out for the 9th just to get the feel for pitching, sitting, then getting back up again. Giving him a couple test runs of this ahead of next week would make sense, if they have any plans to throw him more than 3 outs.

I know the Cardinals have been otherworldly lately, but I won’t be surprised if they get blown out in the Wild Card game. It feels like they’ve already cashed in too much devil magic just to get to this point.
