Jackson Chourio hit his first homer of the season to start off a 5-run, 8th inning rally. It’s 7-7 Carolina-Augusta as they head to the 9th inning.

RHP TJ Shook with his usual domination at High-A Wisconsin (4 scoreless innings, no walks, 5 Ks).

I hope his travel day bus tomorrow takes him to Mississippi.

Holy cow, the Rattlers snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, getting only their 2nd hit of the game in the last, game-winning at-bat with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th (Alex Hall - 2 RBI single).

Shuckers have struggled again, managing just 1 hit through 7 2/3 innings, down 2-0.

But wait, an Ashton McGee walk and first-pitch blast by Brent Diaz ties it up!

Win, gentlemen! You can do it!!

a 5 walk 1 single, 4-run bottom of the ninth inning gives Wisconsin the win.
Man, like a little league game.

Hey, a splendid way to follow-up winning on two wild pitches. Gotta love the lower levels baby. It's literally never over until it's over.

I'm ALL aboard the Shook Train baby. He has legitimate 'stuff'. Excited for his progression (probably unrealistically so).

Tyler Herb continues getting the 2022 Brent Burnes treatment in Biloxi. Sheeeesh. 5 more scoreless innings with nothing to show for it. I feel for Tyler as he is really dealing over his past 3 starts: 16 innings of combined 1 RUN ball and not a win to show for it ?J.T. Hintzen blows his second save in a week giving up a 2-run jack in the Bottom of the 10th. Things are piling up in a not so good way for Biloxi. Hintzen has now conceded 6 runs in his last 3 outings - a combined 3 1/3 innings. Batters now hitting 0.306 in his 11 1/3 innings pitched.

Chourio goes four for four with a double, a bomb & a stolen bag to cap off a pretty ridiculous (480/519/800) first week of affiliated ball.

This just in:

The 2022 Nashville Sounds are still really good. Jon Singleton with 2 more walks. He's hitting .207 with an 0.847 OBP. Love me some Jonny Muscles.
