The Shuckers have won 7 games in a row and have 22-year old RHP Justin Jarvis making his 4th AA start in Pensacola tonight (3.60 ERA in 15 AA innings). 1B Wes Clarke has hit safely in 7 of his last 8 games:

Nashville leads their home series against Jacksonville 2-1 and have 23-year old LHP Robert Gasser making his 3rd start in AAA ball tonight (5.23 ERA with 13 Ks in 10 1/3 innings). CF Sal Frelick's on-base streak has reached 32 games:

What's crazy about Felick's on base streak is it is not even tops in the International League right now. LOL. He trails the next by one game. Quite the cat and mouse going on!

I see the Shuckers are facing Eury Pérez. That's going to take quite the night from the bats to take this one and a quality start from Justin Jarvis. The recent High-A call-ups haven't seen an arm like this all season. Here's hoping they bring their 'A' games.

Frelick extended his on base streak to 33 games. Severino appears to have left the game early - I hope he’s OK. Sounds trail 4-0 in the 8th.

Jarvis works around 6 walks. Shuckers win 2-1. What a run.

Middendorf had a frightful 9th inning but escaped. That’s 8 straight wins for Biloxi.

Columbus lost, so Nashville maintains a 4.5-game lead. Toledo has won 8 in a row to thrust themselves into the picture at 5 games back.

Not very often Frelick strikes out twice in the same game but he did extend his on base streak. Wiemer with a couple more walks tonight as his strikeout to walk ratio has greatly improved since his promotion to AAA.
