When does it become too early to wave the white flag and bring in Love to get some game reps? Midway through the 3rd quarter?

Way too many missing pieces to think they can acquire enough help to do anything this year

I hope not, doesn't seem fair to toss him in against the best defense in the league behind a trash OL and trash WRs and I don't want to read all the hot takes about how he "doesn't have it" when Rodgers can't do anything either.

What is there to sell?

Rodgers is untradeable and wouldn't fetch a fraction of what you could've gotten in the spring anyway. Aaron Jones maybe? I don't know what veteran piece they can give up that has any value at all.

I think I agree with you, this isn’t the time, but they also really need to find out what they have in Love.  

Assuming the L here, of course, we’re only two or so more losses to being good and buried, so there’s plenty of time in the second half of the season for Love to get reps.

I was kind of only half serious but I also just don't see the point in continuing to subject Rogers to the punishment he's taking. This wasn't a game they were likely at all to win anyway.

They are in a weird position. If they're 3-6 the obvious choice is to get Love some time but that's basically telling Rodgers his career is over or he's playing somewhere else. Maybe that is where they are but it's still sort of weird if he thinks he's playing here next year...I don't know how to explain my point but it's like he's sort of got them hostage at this point.

Amazing how slow and sluggish this offense operates regardless of the situation.  Like you'd think that some sort of quick tempo would be in order being down 3 scores with a quarter left. 

Nope, we still use the entirety of the play clock on every snap regardless.

The difference between one of the best teams and the Packers is immense. Also Gutsy really screwed up this off-season by not picking up even an average WR.
