What players have recovered well from neck surgery?

I’m excited about Jesse Winker joining the Brewers

I’m concerned that he is not fully recovered from neck surgery

I hope he is healthy & ready to go by Opening Day

I would think that neck fusion surgery (to repair a bulging disc) is not “minor” surgery

What current MLB players have had a similar surgery & recovered to play well?

David Wright (ended career though I believe he had a litany of other issues)

Prince Fielder (hit for a 126 OPS+ following season)

Nick Markakis (109 OPS+ following season)

It's not MLB...but Jack Eichel (NHL) had disk replacement surgery and is dominating the NHL so far this year. He wanted disk replacement instead of fusion which is actually part of the reason the Sabres traded him to the Knights.
