What is the deal with Eric Brown?  Still hasn't played since getting hit in the face on Wednesday, but no concussion and no fractures.  Have they put him on the IL, or just giving him some days off to gather himself?

Hasn't been put on the IL so could just be giving him a couple days off after a close call like that.

Lucas Erceg gets a timely double play and pitches a scoreless top of the 10th! Speedster Eddy Alvarez starts the bottom of the 10th on 2B with Taylor, Hiura, and Singleton due up. I'm feeling a walk off here!

Unfortunately not all good news though. Ryan Middendorf having another tough inning. He came into the 6th inning with 0 outs inheriting runners on 2nd and 3rd. 3 singles and a passed ball later and 4 runs come across. 2 ER for Seminaris and 1 ER for Middendorf with 1 unearned run as well.

Double emoji. Awesome for the Sounds. Midds continues to struggle to find his footing in 2023. He's in the proverbial grind to get back to the consistency of last year.

What might the Brewers have with this 20-year old? Numbers-wise, he's performed everywhere he's been. Do we know what his profile is? His K-rate and BB-rates look really good.

Quoting @Joseph Zarr from an earlier outing: “This young man has solid stuff out there. Really nice breaking ball mix. Has some tailing movement on his change-up to lefties. Really good tools to work with”. Here’s a bit of video from ACL ball last year:
