Jesus Aguilar was just DFA'd by Oakland. Just trying to be thorough; not suggesting we take a flyer on him unless we're looking to set some sort of record for most beefy 1B under contract in one season.

I will say this: some Brewer fans complain about the team "dumpster diving" or being "cheap". It's always conveniently forgotten when it works. For most of his time here, it worked very well.

I'd say if we didn't pick up Ruf that we could give him a shot, but I think Ruf is just a better fit for a weakside 1B/DH platoon than Aguilar at this point.
