Did Arnold make a mistake not trading the Big 3 away?

Agree with endaround completely, this team (as flawed as it is) is a solid favorite to win the division in every projection system I've seen as of today. I don't see anyway the team is dismantled at the trade deadline

Solid Favorite? Maybe in the context that somebody has to win, but there’s an undeniable overall talent gap between truly good teams like the D’Backs and the Brewers

So, I guess the old adage applies “you’re either getting better or getting worse,” and the Brewers are definitely getting worse.

But ultimately you’re right their division is so poor, they’ll probably be too close to first to sell when  they should,  and they’ll ultimately get pennies on the dollar when they break their team up in December of ‘23

Other than the AL central, right now the Brewers would be in fourth place in every other division and dead last in the AL East. They've got a darn good shot at making the playoffs but this team is overall bad. I have no idea what should have been done in the offseason and even less what should be done before the deadline.
