Very concerning that we don't have 1 .300 hitter (qualified) in the minors. I've been saying it for a while but Tyler Black needs to be in AAA. There is no one of importance blocking his move up and it would allow an easy September call up if he continues strong the play.

Why is that concerning? 

There's 1 qualified hitter hitting .300 in the Southern League (and he's 25). There's 3 qualified hitters hitting .300 in the Midwest League (and 1 is 24). There's 1 qualified hitter hitting .300 in the Carolina League (and he's 22).

Maybe not “qualified” but Lara (.318 in 162 PAs) and Perkins (.317 in 166 PAs) are both over three hundred in decent sized samples.

Guilarte (.292 in 156 PAs) and Carlos Rodriguez (.292 in 194 PAs) aren’t that far off either.
