Baker gave up a grand slam on his 3rd pitch. Shuckers trail 7-6.

Odds of a position player pitching have increased to 50%. Sorta lucky this is a road game.

Baker's HR rate since the calendar flipped to June is absurdly bad. I don't know what on Earth happened after two very good months but he is currently pitching from the gutter.

How bad is it? It's really bad:

Since May 27th, he's pitched in 10 games total.

10 HR allowed. HR's allowed in 7-of-10 outings.

I mean, that's just a really really rough stretch. He allowed 3 HR's today - two more long balls after the grand salami. Yikes.

Murray and Warren reached, but Sparks flies out to end it.

With the loss, the Shuckers tied their series 3-3 and our full season affiliates are 161-161 on the season heading into their 4-day break.
