I noticed that in the highlights & even on his mugshots, he just looks solid. Makes his speed  and baserunning instincts all the more impressive.

Long-term, I feel pretty strongly about Wiemer in RF. I just don't know if they'd mess with moving him right now. They're both more than capable of playing CF, which is a great "problem" to have.

In case y'all missed this earlier this week, this just in: Frelick has made several web gem type defensive plays over the past month in CF. This was his most recent display. He's made leaping catches at the deep CF wall. He is always a threat to rob low sinking liners to shallow CF. He's been really really good in 2023. Wherever they put him in the OF grass, he'll be just fine. Trust me. Underrated arm too. Underrated defensive player, really.
