Young just announced on the Mudcats broadcast that Hedbert Perez broke a bone in his foot running the bases on Tuesday. Really feel for the kid in the midst of possibly figuring it out at A ball

In positive news, Luke Adams is continuing his insane hot streak. It’s the 3rd inning and he’s already 2-2 with a 2B and HR. The HR was a 427ft blast to straightaway CF over the 20ft wall

OF Je'Von Ward is having a heck of a series at Dayton. If I am not mistaken, that is his 4th 2B in three games? Heck, let's look it up: going back to the final two games versus Peoria:

    5 G, 9-for-19 (2-for-2 tonight) 5 2B, 2 HR

    Whewwwww baby!

T-Rats lead 5-1 but Cornielle is walking the tightrope of his sometimes walk tendencies.

Really happy to see Frelick have a big game………

Been hitting the ball a lot better within the past few days. Wonder if the thumb is feeling better. That's a tough injury for a hitter.
