Cubs already up 3-0 on the Giants.

Looks like the Brewers will need to pull this one out just to lose one game off their lead in this series.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Suziki is on fire.

This game doesn’t bode well for a Brewer win. There have been many games this season when the team scored in the 1st inning and have been shutout the rest of the game.

I mean it wasn’t awful.

Yeah, Peralta just suddenly lost it in the 6th. His final line did not reflect the quality of his outing, to my eyes anyway.

It felt like he didn't really have it all game, but he battled. Not a ton of swing and misses and he was leaving a lot over the plate. Plus, he couldn't throw the changeup for a strike.

You just can’t lose 2 out of 3 to the  Pirates with Burnes, Woody and Peralta going against nobody’s and bullpen games.

Cubs just keep on hitting……..

It wasn’t awful but when an ace pitcher is staked to a 3 run lead against a supposedly weak team and can’t even pull off  a quality start, it is not good.

looks like we are getting to the inevitable stage of the cubs overtaking us.     They are just better than us.    But we still have a pretty substantial lead in the wild card.     So we should be ok

but who knows with this team

What a horrible decision by CC to pitch Peguero in back to back games. And thank you Clayton Andrews for being so horrible that we had to use Peguero last night.

Their offense is to blame.  Their all or nothing BS has to stop.

Peralta didn’t do what was needed today.

Well, is it too much to ask the offense to score more than 3 runs against crap pitching?

Yup. And if Hoby was available, I have no idea why he wasn't used in the sixth.

We just aren't a very good team. Probbaly good enough to sneak into the playoffs with the other teams being worse but not a threat to Atlanta or LA.
