Why not take a run at Amed Rosario for 2B?

Both FG and MLBTR have him predicted for a 2 yr / $18M contract. I think he's maybe too close to what's expected from Turang at this point for it to be worth it.

Brice Turang:

Amed Rosario:

That said, he did have a couple nice back-to-back years in 2021-22 (102 wRC+, 2.5 fWAR and 105 wRC+, 2.7 fWAR respectively) and he's only going into his age 28 season, so he could have a bounce back year.

But I probably prefer to put that money towards a Ryu/Clevinger/Lorenzen/Odorizzi type that lengthens the rotation and/or a Martinez/Santana/Urshela/Donaldson type that adds a little more threat to the lineup.

Yeah. If you're going to take away Turang's defense at 2B, which is key to our run prevention strategy, especially now that Hoskins is signed, it would have to be for a more surefire offensive upgrade than Rosario.

A Josh Donaldson reunion remains something I'd sign up for.

Now, if you want a more long-term solution in the infield, the Brewers should offer a package headlined by Sal Frelick to the Cardinals for Nolan Gorman. They need a true CFer (their current one is Edman, an infielder), and we need some left-handed power in the infield.

Doubt it ever happens because it's an interdivisional trade with one of our two biggest rivals, but it makes so much sense for both sides.

I thinking Chapman is still a dark horse for the Crew.  But still feel they not Done

Would be nice but Im guessing Black is our OD 3B.

While I'd prefer him in a super-sub role, Andruw Monasterio showed enough last season, albeit perhaps under the radar, to warrant consideration for an increased role as well.

I could see a Black/Monasterio platoon at 3B.

What are Black's splits?

If it's obvious he needs a platoon mate, fine, but if not, let the kid play!
