I’ll be curious to see what roster changes take place before tomorrow’s game against Tampa Bay.

I assume Junk returns to Nashville since he pitched back to back days.

Is it time to DFA Viera? Should we send Chourio & Dunn & Uribe to AAA?

What other players could be exchanged with fresh arms & potential bats?

Is it time to call up Black & Hicklen?

Are there any “surprise” injuries that would allow an IL visit for a pitcher & the return of Koenig?

It would be wise to shake things up a bit.

I think Uribe needs to be part of the yoyo train of relievers with options at the very least. Dude has not established himself enough to be given a permanent spot on the roster.

Vieira has only really had one bad outing, Saturday. I reckon Junk goes down for Koenig, If they really need someone to eat innings I guess they could bring up Martin or Ashby but both have struggled. We don't have many healthy arms left on the 40-man. Once Miley goes on the 60-day IL they can add Paredes or Zaztrysny.

Option Wiemer and select Hicklen. I think they wait on Black for service time/Super 2 issues. Maybe send Dunn down and Monasterio up.

Would appear Junk is an obvious demotion and Miley goes to the 60 day IL to bring up perhaps Paredes.

They probably regret sending Koenig down but would need to get another pitcher on the IL in order to bring up.

A lot of black holes with the position players. Wiemer, Dunn, Miller can all go down but not a lot of great option to bring up. Could always DFA Capra to select Hicklen but wouldn't expect much out of him.

Unless Hoskins or Bauers suffers an injury I see no way Black makes it up here any time soon. We value versatility, and you need it with a 13 position-player group. Three 1B won't fly.

Junk for Koenig makes sense. But looking at TB I don't think you'd want 3 LH relievers. But that leaves you with........Martin? Unless Junis comes back w/o rehab appearances (doubtful).

Bradley Blalock (Biloxi) hasn't thrown for 4 days & is on the 40-man.

EDIT: Forgot that barring IL hocus-pocus Koenig can't return yet.
