Roller with his second consecutive K. He's looked completely overmatched in both. Not good AB's. On to the second half of the 2nd. Sounds lead 3-1.

Meanwhile, in Lynchburg. Yoshwar just walked. Castillo just dropped a single into shallow right CF. men on the corners. One down. Top of 2nd. 0-0 game.

Garcia K's looking (the Muddies 5th) on a center cut heater. Don't know what he's looking for there in a 2-2 count. On to the bottom of the 2nd.

And, in an 0-2 count, Henderson hit his spot but failed to get a high heater past the hitter. The lefty launched a line drive HR over the RF wall. 93 mph on the heater. Henderson is sitting 91-93 and only touching 94 mph. 3-2 game. Two down.

Fair assessment. It's almost as if trying to be any type of defender at any position is taking a toll.

He has always been somewhat limited in the power department, but numbers like these in AAA are really concerning for a bat first prospect.

I mean, I think it's fair to say Black's status as a whole is pretty concerning. Can't really find a position anywhere on an MLB diamond. His bat has to play. BUT, his bat hasn't played in his current MLB sample size and he hasn't really had a good year as a whole.

Henderson follows the HR with a walk. As I said from pitch one: not sharp.

I don't think Henderson makes it past the third inning tonight. Heck, he may not make it out of the second. 50 pitches. 2 down. Just walked a guy. Down 3-1 to the next batter. Has zero control of his off-speed tonight but in very short stints. Gets the 3-1 pop out to shallow LF. He will get the third frame it would appear. BUT, given he's on a pitch limit in Triple-A I don't see this outing lasting much longer given what we've seen.

Ground rule opening dub from CapraArroyo's hot night continues with a line drive single into CF. Men on the corners. Nobody out.

Meanwhile, in Lynchburg, Yophery rips a double dpast a diving 1B down the RF line and Yoshwar Garcia blows by Stanley's sttop sign and easily makes it home.

AND Black just blasted a HR over the RF wall @wiguy94 Hell of a blast. That may have left the stadium? Golfed it on a low inside pitch and just ripped it. 3- run knock. 433' out to RF?! Yeah that's crushed.

Corniel works around a Bitonti misplay at 1B to escape a one on two out scenario in the third. He gets the line drive hit right to Baez to end it. 1-0 and the Muddies are on the 4th. Meanwhile, pitch one in Biloxi.

Good rebound from Seminaris. He gets the weak chopper to the mound for the first out. He then picks the runner off trying to take 3rd and leaving early. Two down.

Wilken just hit his hardest ball in weeks - a line drive gapper to deep right CF and it was tracked down by the CF'er just shy of the warning track. Hall was doubled off 1B as he left on contact.

Two straight sinkers 90 and 91 mph dotting the lower part of the zone both called balls. Tight zone in Biloxi early for both squads. Yeeesh.

So, the questionable walk to open Seminaris' 2nd inning. Hard hit grounder finds the hole past a diving EBJ. Men on corners. Throws a wild pitch to the backstop. 1-0 Biscuits. Man on 2nd.

Goodness gracious this Shuckers team. Seminaris has the runner dead to rights again. Left for 2B early. Ernesto launches the throw to 2B into left CF. Runner scores. Runner obviously safe at 2B. They continue to defy the eyes maintaining a hold on that playoff berth. They haven't been playing good baseball for some time. Their bullpen has saved them repeatedly.

Meanwhile, Seminaris the starter continues to do Seminaris the starter things: hanging pitches in advantageous counts. Just gave up his 3rd run of the 2nd inning on a triple to deep RF. 0-1 count and he hangs a dead center 90 mph sinker. I swear it's a repeat performance nearly every start. Man, how I wish he could just be a bullpen arm!
