Played 77 innings there in 2016 and another 103 in 2023, so not really.

Don’t see the Brewers really having any interest, all the arrows are pointing the wrong direction last three years…

If he’s the option at 3rd.  Should go after 2B and move Turang to SS

So Polanco at 3B, Turang to SS, and a new guy at 2B?

Aren't you forgetting about Ortiz?

Ortiz at 2nd or SS.  Whichever profiles better.

Again, you are proposing Polanco to 3B, a new guy at 2B, so that leaves Turang and Ortiz at SS.

You have one too many guys for 3 positions.

No to Polanco, big hard NO!

Some guy at 3rd.  My guess it will be Jose Rojas.  With Ortiz and Turang up the middle.  Guess I wasn’t clear.  Meant to say Turang or Ortiz at SS or 2B whoever profiles better.  Could look at Torres at 2B and shift Turang to SS.  But Torres glove has dipped a lot.

Not seeing Brohm or Saurez from the Diamondbacks as possibilities but who knows.

Moncada is the right move and I have a hunch Arnold feels the same way and gets it done with him.

Any guess on the cost.  Like one year incentive based on plate appearances/games that escalates high 7 to 8 figures?

What excites you about Moncada? Still living off the prospect high from 8 years ago. From 2020-2024, his stats per 162 games would be 20 hrs, .244 BA with a 99 OPS+.

If he is cheap, sure,

i'd offer a 2/8 ( 2mil 1st year ( 1 mil plus alot of incentives) /6 mil 2nd year) with Mutual Option in 2nd year and a 1 mil buy out

Moncada has averaged less than 70 games played per year in the last three years. From 2022-2024 he has been on the IL eight times and missed 260 games. The White Sox are desperate for good players but got sick of his cronic IL stays.  He can't be counted on as anything more than a back-up IF.  He certainly wouldn't be my first option, but I'd offer him something like your first year offer ($1M plus incentives on games played and production). 2nd year would be a team option at $4M plus incentives like year one. No buyout.
