Rengifo for Civale

Who says no?  Rengifo can play wherever but guessing third for us.  Durbin gets a year in the Mona role where we find out if he is starter caliber on a playoff team in 2026.  Anyone like this deal?

With how much emphasis the Brewers put on run prevention I don’t think they’d have much interest in Luis.

 I like Rengifo but with the current value of starting pitching I would want a top 20 prospect back from them as well (top 20 for our system probably like top 12 from LA)

I kind of like the rotation the way it is. Rengifo would be a solid get but I would much rather give up a prospect to get him instead of Civale.

Rengifo had a good 2024 at the plate.  His career numbers make that look like an outlier, and for anyone clamoring for a power bat, he's neither that in any consequential way or much of an OBP guy, either (career .312 OBP & .707 OPS).  No thanks.
