Kinda hate not going for that 4th down. Are we worried about Howell driving the length of the field if we get stuffed? LaFleur used to be more aggressive. I don’t need Dan Campbell levels of recklessness, but I would have liked a little dice roll there.

I wouldn't have minded if they had, but I'm a big advocate of going up a score when the opportunity presents itself.

The last thing you want to do is to give them momentum by stuffing them on 4th down.  If you can go up by three scores, you do it.

Yeah, I seem to be in the minority, but I still feel that if you have a chance to get up 21 at the start of the 4th, the game is effectively over. Take the kill shot.

I would not have minded it but I can understand why they didn't. I think you are right that MLF has been far too conservative this season though

I would always make the decision that requires the other team to get the ball an extra time. Kick the FG. A touchdown isn't a kill shot. It's marginally better than a FG.
