I am going to say the qualification I'd best current pitcher in value of the big league team for this year. I am including everyone who will potentially pitch this year.

1. Freddy 2. Megill 3. Hudson 4. Woody 5. Myers 6. Nestor 7. Quintana 8. Civale 9. Uribe 10. Koenig 11. Ashby 12. Yoho 13. Payamps 14. Peguero 15. Mears 16. Alexander 17. Misi 18. Patrick 19. Hall 20. Elvin Rodriguez 21. Henderson 22. Carlos Rodriguez 23. Gasser 24. G Anderson 25. Wolfram 26. C Thomas (returned soon) 27. Middendorf 28. Liranzo 29. Jay 30. McWilliams

I find it difficult to rank the starters after Freddy and the relievers after Megill and Hudson so I kind of lumped the tiers together for now.

Just something fun to think about how great our depth is once we get healthy. Also it shows how much pitching we could trade if we are healthy and our prospects pitch well.

Initial take: Hudson doesn’t seem like he will be our second most valuable reliever this year, so far.

He has been a bit shaky with command but I have faith. I am going a lot on last year on him being ahead of others. His stuff has looked relatively good, really after Peralta and Megill it is kind of up in the air. I could see anyone on my list up to Yoho at 12 being the 3rd most valuable.

Here are my thoughts over 1/5 of the way through. Again these are rankings based on predicting what they will do for us the rest of the season not counting what they have done

1. Freddie 2. Quintana 3. Megill 4. Koenig 5, Uribe 6. Woody 7. Myers 8. Mears 9 Anderson (Biggest riser) 10. Patrick 11. Civale 12. Priester 13. Cortes 14. Yoho 15. Ashby 16 Misi 17. Henderson 18. Payamps 19. Hudson (biggest faller) 20. Peguero 21. Alexander 22. Hall 23. E Rod 24. CarRod 25. Gasser 26. Liranzo 27. D Garcia 28. C Thomas 29. Jay 30. Yeager

Same as my post at the beginning of the year, when everyone gets healthy and the AAA guys who are ready there is a lot of excess to trade from.

It wouldn't surprise me at the trade deadline we could have a rotation of healthy arms of

1. Freddy 2. Woody 3. Quintana 4. Civale 5. Cortes 6. Myers 7. Patrick 8. Priester 9. Misi 10. Henderson 11, CarRod 12. Gasser

I think we could start trading high on a couple vets come June especially if 3B and SS continue to be rough.

Just don't see Cortes being the 13th most valuable pitcher the rest of the way unless he fights through injury with hopes of a big payday still. 14/15/16/17/18 intrigue me the most, think at least three of those will have to be top 10 for the Brewers to make a run.
