Wow. Schweitzer who shut down Biloxi for 5 innings, exits and we have a dribbler that becomes a infield single, and Spain then walks, and now a WP. Shuckers have something brewing her (see what I did there). And it's now ball 4 to Lara, and bases are juiced.

Big spot for Cooper with bases loaded. And he has 2K now on a big cut and whiff. No need to do too much Cooper just get the ball in play.

Man, Pratt is overzealous here. Bases juiced. Clinging to a 2-0 lead with a bullpen struggling to hold leads and he swings at a curve in the dirt a foot outside the zone. Regroup, Cooper. Settle down young Buck.

See put the ball in play. That is not Brock Wilken at 3rd.

Is it fair to say that Barons 3B got "eaten up" by that 😉?

The error scores two.  Nothing crazy, but Pratt puts it in play and good things happen. Alright 4-0 Shuckers.

SO, did they rule that an error? Yes. They gave the error to Camaletti. He got absolutely eaten up on that hard hit grounder. Whewww. The Shuckers needed those runs. Likely a DP home-to-first if he handles it cleanly.

Man, after that defensive gem from Wilken I so want him to find success in this AB. Got the benefit of a ball call there. Whewww. 1-2 count.

Wilken Ks on a pretty breaking ball looking. He knew he missed it (EDIT: meaning he knew he should have swung)

Then Miller grounds out.

And up to Adams, big spot Luke c'mon Luke and he hits it HARD but right at the CF. Dang

Well it's a 4-0 lead going to bottom of 9.

Big Strikeout by Yeager. Out #1. That's 27 K in the first 2 games for Biloxi pitchers 😳, with 2 outs left here in the 9th.
And EBJ with a catch of a pop up, out #2 in the inning and #26 in the game.

So that's 27 K of the 53 outs so far. One more to go ...

What was said about that infield defense. Ball up the middle and a nice play that looked routine, but was not for Pratt. Ranges to second base and good throw to get the runner. Good defense tonight. Not a ton of offense, but walks and few timely hits and two big errors by the Barons. So its the Sebuckers tonight, right???

Man, he stares at a dead center belt high slider to go down looking. Come on, Brock. Swing the bat. My goodness.

I know Wilken has a good wRC+ this year but I absolutely hate how he's looked at the plate this year. He's taken his passiveness to the extreme. 60.4% of his PA end in BB or K this year and he had a 28.9% swing rate coming into today. This is just not a serious approach for a player who has MLB aspirations.

Hard to disagree, honestly. That K looking was gross. I just don't see him cutting loose enough. And, I don't see him swing enough period. Those numbers don't lie. It's confounding.
