Welp no magic tonight

As Warren grounds into a 6-4-3 DP to end the night in Birmingham, after Burke walks to load the bases, Areinamo grounds to third base for a FC and out #3.

Oh my at the same time excitement turns to double disappointment. Bummer.

Tyler Jay retired the side in Charlotte to preserve a 5-4 Sounds lead.

A 2-2 night in the farm, with the chances for so much more.

Shucker 3-game winning streak ends as the quiet bats go even quieter, if that is even possible. And a very un-KC Hunt pitching line with 4 runs, and 2 walks, but did get 7 K.

TRats give up a lead early, fight back and lose it in the 9th on some fluke plays (wind aided triple then a balk), and strand the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth.

But on the positive side: Sounds hold off  for the win, with an interesting outing as far as the stat line for Carlos Rodriguez, and some nice innings of relief by McGee and Jay

No surprise as the Muddies win the big game of the day, and Blayberg Diaz with the 4-4 night, and the pitching looked solid from Meccage to Reyes to Gillis.
