They are underway in the top of the first for Game 1 of a 2 game set today @ Fredericksburg. This is known as a 'doubleheader' for the children at home. RHP Bryce Meccage is indeed the starter. CF Braylon Payne returns.

I already miss Dinges in Carolina. Walther and Martinez are having a very difficult time behind home plate in this series.

The AAA Sounds can clinch a home series win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with a victory behind RHP Tobias Myers (3.2 IP, 4 R, 11 H in 3.2 IP in MLB last week) tonight. DH Anthony Seigler has a 13-game hitting streak.

The High-A Timber Rattlers can clinch their first series win of 2025 at South Bend tonight. RHP Ryan Birchard (3.72 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 10.9 K/9 in 29 IP) makes his 8th start. 1B Blake Burke’s on-base streak is now 25 games.

SS Cooper Pratt is back in the lineup after missing 3 games, as AA Biloxi aims to extend its home series lead over Knoxville to 3 games to 1. LHP Tate Kuehner (3.13 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 8.4 K/9 in 37.1 IP) gets the start and 3B Luke Adams (.833 OPS in 166 PAs) looks to extend his 18-game on-base streak.

I'm going out on a limb to say when Eric Bitonti is actually hitting and hitting for power; when Josh Adamczewski is the regular at 2B and batting 3 or 4; when Luis Peña is healthy and mashing; and when Marco Dinges was just absolutely dominating... the Mudcats are a better offense. Outlandish take.

I wonder when the Brewers will make the call to move Wande to the ACL. I'm not sure what the benefit is for him to go out and seriously struggle pretty much every outing.

The best part of watching the Minor Leagues? I don't have to watch Pat Murphy managed Brewers baseball. Big win for my overall contentment.

Gotta wonder if Edgardo Ordonez is healthy. He's yet to play full season affiliate baseball.
