  1. Wonder if we’d give Hardin and Deberry a shot at some starts. Really go balls out with the young rotation.
  2. Rylan Mills was similar last year. Not our type, but if they’re deviating from the 17 year olds, they must like something there.
  3. Yeah the more I think about it, the more I think he might cost as much as Ebel. Only explaination as to how he fell so far. He just turned 21 a few days ago and is only a sophomore. Old for his HS class, young for his college class. Could go back and still be a junior, and TCU has money. This could be a Levonas thing that we just had to take a swing at because the plus side is a top of the first talent.
  4. Where our picks placed in the BA Top 500: Trey Ebel: 86 Sawyer Strosnider: 13 Kyle Jones: 72 Julian Garcia: 92 Strosnider is a draft eligible sophomore. I imagine that is going to be a tricky / above slot signing. Teams had to have been thinking he’s going back to school.
  5. 75% of slot would be $2,775,000 That is exactly $25k more than Brady signed for last year. If my boys are anything to go off of, I’d retroactively give Brady another $25k so they play nice.
  6. It 100% will be the max savings. His brother did it last year for less.
  7. So we are getting max savings there. Will be interesting to see what we do next.
  8. Eh. They’re good with Payne, Dinges, Bitonti, and Pena. I kind of want the Wilson lineup to stay as it is. That is a fun group that should stick together, and no one is really kicking the door to Appleton down just yet.
  9. Combining with @LouisEly’s post, but Hendry Mendez is looking great with the Twins and he was in that Chourio / Severino class as maybe our best.
  10. There are 51 teams in the league. The Brewers teams are #3 and #5 in HRs. The teams that are 1-2 each have 100 more ABs than ours (along with being in the top 15 oldest teams). Even in a crazy year, our guys are the craziest.
  11. Connor Comeau feels like a more Brewers-y version of Bitonti. Hit over power, but looks like he could add 50 lbs and be a monster. If we could get him and one of the young SS in the 2nd (Maniscalco, Ebel, Marchaund), I’d be over the moon.
  12. He’s Matt Erickson’s (our 3rd base coach) nephew. However, he’s old for the class which means he’s basically dead to us.
  13. Brewers have 9 guys in BA's updated Top 100. That's with Henderson and Pratt still on there. Frias in at 100.
  14. Someone pointed it out yesterday, but the Nationals A ball team is pretty shameful with the pitching. Another 24 year old today.
  15. He won’t be. It’s a Willits / Steele Hall situation where he’ll go top 10 after flying up boards. Maniscalco also only turned 17 a month ago. He’s 100% our pick if the draft was last week. We will take Taj Marchand or Ebel’s brother.
  16. Sure feels like all the full season teams are settling in and ready to make a run at second half championships. This is gonna get good.
  17. I feel like at this point last year I was all in on 17 year olds Willits and Steele Hall… Sure feels like Maniscalco is going to be this year’s obvious Brewer that flys up draft boards.
  18. Well Frias looks cool as hell, which is half of the equation for being a top prospect.
  19. I think we are going to pull a Fischer/Dinges and draft Zion Rose, but as a catcher.
  20. “Brewers shortstop Ricki Moneys checks in fifth on the strength of a 109 mph 90th percentile exit velocity, a 111 mph max exit velocity, and better-than-average contact rates and swing decisions. This type of power was seen in 2025 from players such as Mariners outfielder Yorger Bautista and Tigers infielder Cris Rodriguez, but those players showed other flaws, such as chase rates above 30% or in-zone contact rates below 80%—areas in which Moneys has not shown weakness thus far. The 6-foot infielder is already a RoboScout favorite.“ Some EV data on Moneys from BA today.
  21. I don’t think we are trading him. Bauers and Vaughn are going to be free agents.
  22. I think they said yesterday on their broadcast that they’ve had 18 rainouts.
