Sounds trail 5-3. And, Avans is on for the second time tonight. He singles up the middle. That's a BB and a single now. Man aboard for EMJ.

Seigler moves to C from 3B replacing Quero

Mitchell is pulled from CF. Avans moves to CF. Zamora moves to 3B off the bench.

RHP Blake Holub is the first arm to the hill. He gets two quick outs and then does a Blake Holub thing to the third batter. Ahead 0-2 behind two filthy change-ups and he walks him on four straight balls nowhere close. Man on first. Two down.

Despite the walk, this was a plus inning from Holub. He gets the K swinging to end his first inning of work on 13 pitches. Sounds still trail 5-3 headed to their half of the 7th.

Meccage with a great start. A “statement” game 😉

Bjorn Johnson is an enigma to me. So good, only in relief, but he will have some big hiccup innings that skews his numbers. 
 

And what a night for Hardin. Less than a year from being drafted and he gets his first AA win, with a solid start, and oh yeah it’s a stinking division clinching win. That Shuckers team since an April - that series against the Clingstones - have been so entertaining to watch.
