Tying run now 90 feet away. 3-2 T-Rats. Two down. First pitch swinging strike on a gorgeous shoestring drop slider.

Welp typed too soon, or not fast enough. ACL Rangers get a hit. But ACL Brewers are up 4-0. Suffice to say that this is Mercedes best start so far.

Carolina truly needs his bat back in Zebulon in the worst way. He would be such a massive boost for their second half chances. Stay healthy, Josh!

Meanwhile, Mercedes has gone six scoreless allowing 1 H, 2 BB while striking out 2. ACL Crew lead 4-0.

As I suspected, 2B Jayden Fielder has subbed in for Adamczewski. Rehab outing numero uno is finished. 

Let us hope all went smoothly...

Mercedes is out. 6 innings of 1-hit shutout baseball.  Great outing for yet another ACL starter - seems like a lot more 4-6 inning starts for SP this year or at least it feels that way.

D. Mora in now.  Gets an out then a HBP.

Those were 112 rather large pitches combined from Stiven Cruz and Jesus Broca, especially considering that Wisconsin is down to 13 pitchers on its roster, inclusive of an essentially-rehabbing Manuel Rodriguez.
