Ethan Murray hits it off the top of the wall, and 2 run double makes it 8-3 Shuckers.  Nearly had a homer there.

Shuckers are just finding ways to score runs despite the biggest bats out (Adams/Wilken)

Is Matthew Wood putting himself into prospect status?

He just hit it hard to right and almost over the wall, but off the RF glove and it's an RBI double, now 9-3.

Wood in Biloxi with an .855 OPS, and 7 K to 9 BB and solid defense.

in Appleton, E. Garcia just smoked it to deep left center and it's 3-3. And Burke just to the warning track in left, and it's out #3, but it's a tie game now. DeBerry went 6 solid innings, pretty dominant other than the 3 run HR.

Fayetteville Woodpeckers have stolen 11 bases against Walther, and no pick off or caught stealing. So 11-11 and it's only the 7th inning 😶

Dubanewicz strikes out the first batter, and walks the next batter. And he gets the next batter, but guess what? Another stolen base. Yikes.

And Dubanewicz gets Holy to fly out. And it's 72 pitches for 4 solid innings of relief. Gives up 3 walks but only 2 hits, and gets 5 K. Wonder if he will go out for the 9th. Mudcats up 5-2 now.

Unfortunately P Aquino can't keep it tied and has given up now 2 runs for T Rats, who are down 5-3 with still only 1 down in the 8th, and runners on.

Tobias Myers is having a good night I think.

Let's see 6 IP so far, and only at 84 pitches , and 8K with 0 BB and only 2 hits. And hitting 95-96 mph in the 6th inning. May have room for the 7th, or just let it ride and let him build off that?

Dubanewicz gets 2 outs in the 9th. And he is at 82 pitches which must be his limit as he is removed with 2 outs in the 9th and no one on. But also 3rd time through the line up (gets the first guy he faced to pop out to center), and his body language told you he didn't want to come out, after the out slaps his glove on his leg. Alright Jayden, love the emotion, and very nice performance, something solid to build on. Now for Hodges to get the last out here let's go Muddies!

OH boy it's Yerlin time in Appleton. And it's that Yerlin.  8 pitches and all balls (including one that hit a batter) 😒

I think the one called strike was out of sympathy

Oh boy it's getting tense in Fayetteville, NC.

Hodges comes in and walks the first batter. Then walks the next on 4 pitches, including giving up a fielder's indifference runnder advance and a mound visit. But he gets the next guy to ground out and end the game.

But Yerlin is making his own fireworks now. 3 walks and 2 HBP. And 20 balls to 2 strikes. OH boy

OK, so the plan is to make the deficit bigger so that the comeback is epic and full of fireworks, right???

T Rats down 10-3 (it was 5-3 after 8 innings). But this is where the 6 run 9th makes it so worth it right?

OK. Next time. Burke gets a 1 out walk, but T Rats do nothing more, and a grounder to the left of the 2b and he gets it and still gets Hedbert out at first. 10-3. The 6 run rally (which I totally miscalculated on since that is still not enough 😬) didn't happen nor did an 8 run rally for the win. It was a no run ninth.  Dang.. TRats had a lot of chances early but didn't cash in and DeBerry had one mistake and the bullpen had one bad inning.

Matt Childers debut in Memphis, but not the best of starts - 9 pitches and only 2 strikes and walks the first batter, and now walks the 2nd batter. 10 pitches still only 2 strikes. C'mon Matt you got this.

And Bo Bowman with the tight rope act. Double to start the inning, sounds like a soft fly single and runners on the corners with no out. But he goes K, K and grounder to get out of the inning. Only 3 more outs to get in Biloxi to earn that win.

You're mixing him up with his dad. He goes by Will

Childers works around those lead off walks. And gets a grounder (force out only) and a fly out (sac Fly) and fly out to give up only 1 run. Nice rebound.  It's 6-1 Sounds

Yup.  Will indeed is pitching or I'm having flashbacks to like 1998 lol

And nice play at 3rd by Murray to get the first out. Yeager gives up a deep fly to left but it's an out. Then a grounder up the middle that Pratt gets to and sets and fires but can't get the runner, but very nice play for a SS. Next batter right to Vargas at 2nd who bobbles it and does get the throw off just in time, and game over. Biloxi wins. 5-3 day for the organization so far, and one more game to play in Memphis as Nashville leads still in the 9th.

The T-Rats have absolutely reverted to their early first half form to start their second  half. This is just an ugly ugly way to play at Home. How many more lives does the cat that is Yerlin Rodriguez have? You can only repeat the exact same issues and the exact same seasons so many times before a team releases you. You can have all the talent in the world but if you can't control your arsenal for longer than a month you just don't have a long life  in affiliated baseball. It feels like the Brewers have had an absurdly long leash here...and that's because the raw goods are that good. BUT the raw goods are ridiculously inconsistent.
