Don't snap the ball in the first place and it's not an issue. And if you do decide to run a play on 3rd and 1, run the ball, and if you run a pass play, get rid of the damn ball. Just bad football all around.

I knew I wasn’t going to be able to watch the game live today because of little league games all afternoon. So I get a whole antenna array set up to get the game recorded on my in-house media server, including spending all afternoon yesterday running coax cable through my walls from the attic to the basement.

And now, the way you all are describing this game, I’m fully anticipating the footage being so ugly that it will melt my hard drives like a Nazi trying to look inside the Ark of the Covenant. Kinda not looking forward to this watch.
