He has never posted anything greater than 0 for OAA in his entire career in RF.  He gets horrible reads and jumps on balls.  He basically makes the plays he should make anything with an out probability >80% anything below that and he is allowing hits in RF.  That is not someone the Brewers are going to stick in RF.  Again his best position is in LF or at DH.  He is only a RF because he is playing for the Angels anywhere else he is a DH or LF.  He should be playing in LF if he is playing any of the OF spots.

Mariners signed 1B/OF Rob Refsnyder to a one-year, $6.25 million contract.

 

Refsnyder has spent the last four seasons with the Red Sox, all of which he served in a part-time role, playing primarily against lefties. That is where the 34-year-old shines, slashing .302/.399/.560 against lefties last year with seven home runs and a .259 ISO. However, for his career, Refsnyder hits just .229/.301/.332 against righties with a 25 percent strikeout rate. The Mariners will use him on the short side of a platoon with Dominic Canzone, who could open as the starting designated hitter.

I think Spencer Jones will be a lot like Adolis Garcia which is a passible mlb player but his strikouts will prohibit him from stardom. As a centerpiece for Freddy I would be OK with that but we should get Jones and more not us giving up more. Jones would be the Ortiz piece in a Burnes equivalent trade.

Jo Adell wouldnt be the worst but I think last year was about as good as it gets and that was 1.3 WAR. After the 37 bombs there isn't a lot there. He is a least average in right but I wouldnt move Sal or Jackson off right for him so I would say he would need to play left which would be a bit of a mystery.
