So, Brandon Sproat will pitch in Las Vegas. This will be... entertaining? Is that the word I'm looking for here?

Since Yelich returned on May 12th (giving the Brewers six players for five lineup spots) the Brewers are 19 W - 8 L.

Of those 27 games, 21 have been against a right handed starting pitcher.

With the Brewers going a perfect 6 W - 0 L against the six lefty starters they faced since 0512 (so much for those southpaw struggles) that leaves a 13 W - 8 L record in those 21 games against right handed starters.

Vaughn has started ten of those games versus RHP (with a 72 wRC+ vs RHP since returning from his hamate injury) with the Brewers going 5 W - 5 L in those ten games.

That leaves an 8 W - 3 L record in the eleven games Vaughn has not started against RHP since 0512.

There is a lot of speculation that MLB swapped in the juiced balls for this series (similar to Iowa, London, Mexico City, etc).

Hard to disagree after what we’ve seen.

I’m fine taking another L today and just getting the heck out of here.

If the Brewers lose today it will drop them to 8 W - 5 L (.615 W%) on this dreaded 13 games in 13 days stretch (with three on a mountain and three on the moon).

That tracks pretty closely with the 33 W - 20 L (.622 W%) record they had entering the series.

Obviously would be great to win every game every day, but every team starts the season with at least fifty some losses guaranteed over the next six months and today is probably another one of those games.

This series is stupid.  It’s almost like it’s not official games

its hard to get happy or mad about anything that happens.    
 

as long as there is no knock on effect to this garbage just play and go home tonight
