What an uncomfortable position for a pitcher. Payne and Dickinson on base and Bitonti up. Double steal and Bitonti just misses the 3-0 pitch and fouls it back. Bitonti takes the walk. Good patience young man. Would love for Bitonti to get his July back to May/June production.  Hall up with bases juiced.

Nice patient at bat by Hall. Down 0-2 in the count looks at a close miss (but a ball) and then fouls several off and draws a walk. 5-3 good guys. Castill up next after the pitching change.

Talking about players and leashes - Carlos Rodriguez is a nice pitcher but he is taking a 40 man spot and isn’t really that effective in AAA, and has been limited to mop up duty when in the bigs.  Wonder what will happen to him, he seems like a good candidate to trade to a team needing depth pitching who can be patient with him I think?

Basically a lost season for the still young man (24 until Thanksgiving). Maybe we’ll shut him down and beg for a 4th option year.

Yerlin allowed Beloit back into the game and Luis Castillo smacked a grand slam to restore a big lead (now 9-3). Go Timber Rattlers!

I walk away for a few minutes after Luis gets himself into an 0-2 (or was it 1-2) hole. And come back to see a grand slam. What an inning. 2 out rally with 4 walks and the HR. Nice job T-Rats!

That is one of the slowest home run trots by Fischer I have ever seen. I wonder if there was something going on with that pitcher or against that team?

Ok. Walk, single, single, double and it’s 4-2. How much more leash does Yerlin keep getting?

He's been a mess.

It's his 3rd year in Appleton, at what point does he just plain run out of rope?

Watched Mayorquin.  Impressed. He is not big, but compact and looks mature in his stature.

Good command overall, but a few non-competitive pitches, but mostly in  or near the zone.

He has a very good curveball.  Apparently a change up although this untrained eye did not notice it, so either it's really good or not very good???  His fastball has life to it and is around 92-94 mph per the announcer, so that is solid.

Renz has a similar looking arsenal but his curveball moves but doesn't seem to fool as much as Mayorquin (maybe no video / scouting report on him), and he has better command of his fastball but it is 88-89.

Oh and Ibarguen made a few nice plays in LF.  Maybe that bat can play at LF and DH, so he could be a sleeper prospect if he can keep on hitting and add a little more power to his profile, he has the size to do so.
