I’d like to see him be a little more aggressive early in counts. I think the book on him is he’ll be patient to a fault early in counts and take pitches. So the pitcher can get ahead and take advantage and then get him chasing out of the zone with 2 strikes.

I am.

I was underwhelmed by his time in Appleton too.  Just never figured it out with the bat, but made great defensive plays.

I'm still shocked they gave him that extension, shocked I tell you...

To be 100% completely honest, both the Pratt and Lara extensions were a total surprise to me, and I'm still not sure I understand what we were thinking.  I like both players, but are they building blocks that you sign for extensions before they ever hit a MLB field?  That is the question.

Yeah he needs some more at bats you can make a judgment

Pratt was 11 for his first 68 in the bigs. 

Drawing any conclusions about 21 year old rookies based on a minuscule sample of less than 100 big league ABs is far, far too early.
