If the Brewers do cough that up, it typically means they are faceplanting anyway and who cares about the Cubs, or the Cubs are some kind of 2018 Brewers stretch. I really don't understand the handwringing over the Cubs. They'll finish where they finish and have to win playoff games regardless.

Just people being fans, and hating our rival.

Why is that so hard to understand.

And also fans watching the team or teams chasing their team for a division title or playoff seeding. 

I’d be watching the Cardinals or Reds or Pirates just as closely if they were in second place. 

With the pivotal seven  head to head games starting next week that focus is even sharper.
