Well, his injuries certainly didn’t make him tap his head like a doofus in the first,

Injuries can certainly take you off your game.  Seems like that challenge was out of character for him especially that early in the game.  Perhaps he feels he needs that slight edge.  Hes had a few real piss poor games as of late.  I’m Just making excuses for him at this point.

Clay Holmes missed all year with a broken leg and has a player option for 2027. Big gamble acquiring him. If he sucks or gets injured he assuredly exercises his player option .

Well he hasn’t sucked, he isn’t hurt, and if the worst happens, it’s $12M, kind of peanuts in the scheme of MLB money.

To Amaya?? He was right, that was a ball. He was wrong when he called a later one a strike

stacast showed strike and even the dumb Brian Anderson commented on the next pitch he called a strike in a similar spot

Harrison has sucked since Las Vegas. Guy would have a 4 era if not for getting a gift in San Diego

His whip at home is 0.86 and his whip on the road is 1.45.

I don't know that I want him starting a road playoff game

But he did give up four runs in four innings to Kansas City....

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

I always thinks it's funny when people complain the announcer is too nice to the other team. Completely indifferent on BA leaving though. Strongly prefer Levering.

Not just any team, the damn rivals. BA is just out of touch. And at this point, Levering is damn good at his job and deserves the full time gig.

I agree. You have to line him up to pitch at home.

The problem is if you’re at home that means Henderson doesn’t pitch til Game 3 and you’re not going to get him again in a 5 game series.

That sounds like just an average Sunday afternoon for May.

I think there might be some disagreement about whether May was the best pitcher available at the deadline after Skubal.

I mean, he's pitching fine.  But Holmes doesn't seem like he takes much pride in his hair, and I haven't seen one overly dramatic, flamboyant body language all game.

Yelich 3 run bomb

Or just another pathetic AB.  Cant wait until he’s gone.  Thanks for the awesome couple years.  Now go away.

What I get for trying to exert an ounce of optimism for tonight
