Was crunching some numbers this morning. I'll share some of the more interesting leaderboards. I included some of the higher end guys on every list, no matter if they were top 20 or not.

A few takeaways from pulling together these leaderboards:

1. Andrew Fischer is the most potent force with the bat by far. Fischer led the system with 46 home runs, 66 extra-base hits, and a 162 wRC+ in 531 plate appearances across High-A and Double-A. He walked at a 17.9% rate and averaged 4.40 pitches per plate appearance. Other hitters only begin to rival his overall offensive footprint when you are able to factor in speed and baserunning impact. Otherwise, the only pure bat that touches his production is...

2. Luke Adams, who simply needs to stay on the field. Adams put up a 153 wRC+ and a .969 OPS with 16 home runs in 295 plate appearances between Triple-A and Complex ball. He ran an identical 14.2% walk rate and 14.2% strikeout rate alongside a .280 ISO. And Adams possesses some the speed component that Fischer does not. The offensive package is legitimate; he just needs to stay on the field.

3. Jesus Made is an amazing combo of youth and performance. Posting a 101 wRC+ over 544 plate appearances at Double-A given his age is impressive. He struck out only 14.3% of the time, stole 36 bases, and sprayed the ball evenly to all fields. His 3.50 pitches per plate appearance indicates aggressive early-count contact. He simply needs to work into deeper counts and find his pitch more often to unlock more of his extra-base power.

4. Other fantastic years across the board

  • Daniel Dickinson (A+): 131 wRC+, .428 OBP, 11 HR, and a system-best 60 stolen bases with a 17.6% walk rate.

  • Brady Ebel (A/A+): 124 wRC+, .413 OBP, 19.5% walk rate against a 21.2% strikeout rate, and 40 stolen bases in 44 tries.

  • Josh Adamczewski (A+/AA): 138 wRC+, .298 AVG, .410 OBP, 17 HR, 44 XBH, and 4.12 pitches per plate appearance.

  • Brailyn Antunez (A/CPX): 133 wRC+, .302 AVG, .936 OPS, 16 HR, and 23 stolen bases in 409 plate appearances.

  • Eric Bitonti (A+): 131 wRC+, 25 HR, 51 XBH, 24 stolen bases, and a 16.6% walk rate.

  • Braylon Payne (A+/AA): 125 wRC+, 25 HR, 50 XBH, 24 stolen bases, and a .904 OPS.

5. Other intriguing profiles & DSL standouts

  • Rylan Mills (A/CPX): 16 HR, .266 ISO, and a 123 wRC+ with a 16.1% walk rate in 274 plate appearances.

  • Juan Ortuno (A/A+): 41 stolen bases, .389 OBP, and more walks (16.5%) than strikeouts (16.1%) over 508 plate appearances.

  • Dylan O'Rae (AA): 58 stolen bases, .395 OBP, 15.5% walk rate, and an 18.4% strikeout rate at Double-A (112 wRC+).

DSL Standouts:

  • Leanders Matos: .346 AVG, .456 OBP, 10 HR, 23 XBH, 19 SB, and a 149 wRC+ in 228 PA. Walked 16.2% of the time with just a 14.0% strikeout rate.

  • Diego Frontado: .289 AVG, .446 OBP, .533 SLG (.978 OPS), 10 HR, 17 XBH, 15 SB, and a 138 wRC+ in 205 PA. Walked 18.0% of the time against a 14.1% strikeout rate.

  • Santiago Garcia: .317 AVG, .468 OBP, 16 SB, 20.5% walk rate, and a 127 wRC+ in 156 PA.

  • Ricki Moneys: .289 AVG, .440 OBP, 5 HR, 21 XBH, 28 SB, and a 126 wRC+ with an 18.9% walk rate in 243 PA.

  • Osiris Ramirez: .417 OBP, 9 HR, 14 XBH, and a 19.6% walk rate (114 wRC+) in 199 PA.

  • Josue Rodriguez: .412 OBP, 14 XBH (11 doubles), an 18.4% walk rate, and 8-for-8 in stolen bases (111 wRC+) in 136 PA.

  • Jose Rodriguez: .382 OBP, 15 SB, and matched 14.6% walk and strikeout rates over 246 PA.

6. Early 2027 picks to click (injury-shortened years)

  • Jett Williams (AAA): The .233 batting average hides a 13.1% walk rate, 21 stolen bases, and 5 triples in 359 plate appearances. His .282 BABIP should rebound once fully healthy.

  • Luis Pena (A+/AA/CPX): Batted .296 with 35 stolen bases in just 292 plate appearances while keeping strikeouts under 20%. A full, healthy slate in 2027 should yield a massive breakout.

7. Patience is a virtue: Wilken, Quero, and Tyler Black Prospect progression is rarely a straight line, and all three produced despite down stretches:

  • Brock Wilken: 41 XBH, 16 HR, a 15.4% walk rate, and 4.20 pitches per plate appearance in Triple-A. A .248 BABIP dragged down his overall slash line.

  • Jeferson Quero: 15 HR and 32 XBH in Triple-A at age 23. He didn't do much actual catching this season while working back physically, but the bat still produced and the plan is for him to be fully ready behind the plate next year.

  • Tyler Black: .378 OBP, 16.0% walk rate, 23 stolen bases, and 4.27 pitches per plate appearance (111 wRC+).

All three reach base and have the tools to contribute. Guys break out at different ages, and writing them off would be premature.

AAA Nashville play at Rays’ affiliate Durham this week. LHP Thomas Pannone looks to build off of his last outing (4 IP, 0 R, 5 Ks). LF Tyler Black has an 8-game hitting streak.
