Former 40-man RHP Tim Bausher traded from the Red Sox to the Reds, along with cash, for RHP Mike Burns.

 

Bausher is not on the Reds' 40-man roster. He'll be assigned to AAA Louisville.

 

He was a big leaguer for one day with the Red Sox, but did not appear in the game, which I imagine does not get you in the Baseball Encyclopedia.

Nice to see Chris Coste (Indianapolis '04) having success with the Phillies. In 148 ABs he has an .885 OPS including 6 homers. He'll probably be hunting for a spring training invite again this winter, but who knows...maybe there is a 40-man spot in Philadelphia for him?
