What? A Geoff Jenkins Grand Slam? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Too bad this is on a Friday night when everyone's out and not watching the game.

That baserunning blunder was 2002 Breweresque.

Nice game so far. I'd like to have gone, but this week is just too busy at work, so it's only Sunday for me.

C'mon Cap, hold the lead.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I am nit-picking, but when you are ahead of that batter like that Cappy, there is not reason to nibble around and let him get on base. I guess it could be worse and he could have walked him.

Assuming, which I should never do with the Brew, that this lead holds up, this is quite the accomplishment with Cappy reaching 15 wins. He could reach 17 if things pan out and that would be the most by a Brewer pitcher since who knows when?

Interestingly, all our 3, 4, 5th hitters have a 5 for 5 and a grand-slam game this season. Congrats to Lee's 100+ rbi season. What a good trade for brewers.

Well Carlos didnt miss that time! Its great to see him all over the ball again though, just a few feet from having a 2-2 BB, 2HR, 5 RBI night. Now that we're up 9-0 lets get Prince in there!

Man, the few times I'm home for a night game it seems to always be a blowout either by the Brewers or the other team. Those games are so boring to watch. Ah well, at least today it is for the right side.

With ending 5th inning, Capuano got his 15th win this year! Good for him. I've known what he can do from his solid minor days and he accomplished his purpose.

Man, EY, Mark Sweeney, Davey Lopes, Mark Loretta...no shortage of bad memories for Brewer fans when they play the Padres.
