Alright, this is like the third time I've said this now in the game thread, but lets get Prince in there! There's no point in leaving Lyle in there.

You know how I can tell Cappy is pitching? The Brewers are leading 11-0 in the seventh.

Think the other pitchers are jealous of the kind of support this guy gets from the hitters?

I think, maybe, just a little.

Heh! I just turned on the game. Nothing quite like a good, old-fashioned blowout, especially when it's the Brewers doing the blowing out for once...

Anyone else see the SD pitcher's name and think of John Candy in Stripes (Pvt. Dewey "Ox" Oxburger)?

Jim Powell just mentioned there will a table at Miller Park threw the end of the year where you can drop of items to help people who are missed plassed due to the hurricane. So if you are going to miller park please donate.

Good to see magruder still stinks. I look forward to not having that guy on the team next year.

Amen to that. He's below the Uecker line now, but Ned keeps trotting him out there.

Ugh! Is de la Rosa pitching himself off the team for next year? No matter how good his stuff is, if he can't throw strikes, he's wasting a roster spot.

When I first realized that Ned was leaving JDLR in to get out of hole he dug himself, I wondered whether our dear manager had indeed gone insane. but upon some further thought, I decided he was right. There is some point where you just have show a pitcher that you're not going to baby him and bail him out if he gets himself into a jam every time out there. I think this was the perfect opportunity; the only thing that could really suffer in that situation was JDLR's ERA, and that was entirely up to him. Good managing right there, Ned.
