Those were some really weak AB's from Carlos and Geoff there.

 

I really think Carlos needs a day or two off, because he seems to be just going up there and lazily hacking at everything. Pitchers are now just pounding the ball low and outside to him because he cant lay off that pitch and always tries to pull it.

ugh.... i still would have rather seen branyan up there. i know he can't hit lefties, but id rather have helms pinch-hit later in the game.

Even though we scored a run there, that was still a frustrating inning. Overbay at second w/ no one out and we weren't even able to move him to third...

 

Alright guys, lets finally get Davis that elusive 10 win.

DD!!!!!!!! What a huge 1-2-3... biggio, berkman, and ensberg are virtually their entire offense. Too bad DD has 100 pitches.
