Brewers are 19-18 since Weeks came up but part of that is because we lost 5 of the first 6 games after he came up.

That's 19-18 against a bunch of playoff contenders. That part of the schedule scared me.

 

Glad to see Hall get the day off. Not only has he been struggling offensively, but his defense has stunk lately.

A problem I have with "clutch hitting" is that Lee's two out double is not considered since O wasn't in scoring position. After a double play to get two straight hits to jump on top is clutch in my eyes.

I love the way they continue to jump out front early. Just one run, but a good start, nonetheless.

 

What I didn't like was the Jenkins at bat. He got suckered by the low and inside breaking pitch again. Then wound up hitting a weak roller to second. Both of those things happen to him when he is not going well. I hope we are not seeing the end of his hot streak. Well, if so, at least Overbay and Lee seem to be waking up. There is something to be said for tag-team offense in baseball.

I don't know about that. His 16-game hitting streak is still active. You can't expect HR and 2B every single at bat.
